Note: Before you can use SAM 2010 for your lab projects, you must register your account with SAM and then enroll in a section.

Instructions for registering your SAM2010 product and enrolling in a course section.

1. Launch your Web browser.
2. Enter the following address into the browser's Address field, and then press the Enter key.
   http://sam2010.course.com (Note: this is not a www address)
   The SAM Office 2010 Login page will display.
3. Click the New User button.
4. Enter ACC's Institution Key: T2025289
5. Click the Submit button. A message will display asking you to confirm the institution’s identity.
6. Click the OK button.
7. Enter the SAM 18-digit Key Code. that was provided with your textbook bundle. (Note: It is case sensitive) Click the Save button.
8. The MY PROFILE page will display. Enter your profile information. Click the Save button to save your user information.
9. The Revise and Confirmation page will display. From here you can do one of the following:
   1. To change your profile information, click the Revise button and modify the information, and then click the Save button again.
   2. To continue, click the Confirm button.
10. The Terms and Conditions page will display.
11. Click the I Agree button, if you agree with the terms, and then begin using SAM.
    If you do not agree with the terms, then click the I Disagree button. SAM will return you to the SAM Login page.
12. Once you are at the SAM home page, select the link “join a class” and find your section.
    Make sure you register for the correct section!!!
13. You should now be in SAM 2010!

Important Note

The Username/Email and Password that you enter will also be your login credentials for Cengage Brain (http://www.cengagebrain.com). If you already have a Cengage Brain account, use that Name and Password when registering for SAM 2010.
