Information Related to Web Development (Expression Web) Assignments

Data Files

Before you can begin working on the web development lessons in this course, you must download and store the Student Data Files on either the H: drive (in the SAC lab) or on your hard drive or flash drive (open campus students).

  1. Click the following hyperlink: Student Data Files

  2. Click the Save button in the File Download dialog box.

  3. Once you have chosen a folder into which this file downloads, open the file so it can extract (unzip and decompress) all the the files you will need for the semester.
    Note: When you extract (unzip) the files, make sure you browse to the correct drive. The extractor program wants to extract the files to the C: drive. In the lab extract the files to the root directory of the H: drive.

Microsoft Expression Web Software

To complete the learning assignments for the Expression Web units you will need to use the Microsoft Expression Web (version 4) software. You have two choices:

  1. Use the Expression Web software on the Computer Studies Department Lab computers. Save your work on a flash drive or ask the Lab Tech for a guest logon number.

  2. Download and install this software from Microsoft. See the Course Information page in Bb.
