Using Your Weekly Planner Effectively:

1.  “X” out all the times that you’re in class

2.  “X” out your usual sleep times

3.  “X” out your work hours

4.  “X” out any other scheduled events or obligations (e.g., religious services, dinner with Mom & Dad, baby’s birthday party, doctor’s appointments, etc.)

5.  Then with whatever time is left, SCHEDULE study periods for EACH of your classes - and treat these scheduled periods like a JOB, where you HAVE to “be there” - you have to meet these commitments.

If you find that you have very LITTLE time “left over” for study periods, then maybe you’re trying to do too much.  Perhaps consider scaling back on the number of classes you’re taking.

If you scale back on classes, it may take you longer to graduate, BUT you’ll probably SAVE money, since you’ll be reducing your risk of failing or withdrawing from a class (and losing the money you paid for the class).  And, hopefully, you’ll be less stressed if you’re working a do-able schedule.
