ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR TRANSFER STUDENTS:
* If transferring 18 hours or more, ACT or SAT not required.
* Minimum Cumulative GPA - 2.0.
* Application Deadlines: Fall - Mid August preferred ; Spring - Early January preferred
* $25 application fee.
TRANSFER CREDIT INFORMATION:
* Maximum number of hours accepted from a community college: 66.
* No credit is given for experience-based education.
* Credit is given for military experience.
* ACC GPA is averaged in for graduation purposes.
* D grades are accepted in general education courses and in one's major, as long as one has a 2.0 GPA in Major. This may vary depending on your major. Contact the department of your major for more information.

· Carr Academic Scholarship Award available for 3.4 GPA & 30 transferable hours to ASU. Awards range from $2,500 to 6,000. High School work or test scores are not reviewed.
· Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) members will be eligible to apply for a $1000 PTK scholarship. Three PTK scholarships for ACC graduates will be awarded annually by ASU.
ADDITIONAL PERTINENT INFORMATION:
A student who is on academic suspension at the last institution attended is ineligible for admission to Angelo State University until the period and terms of the suspension have been satisfied. An applicant who has attended another college/university and desires to register for a summer session only may be considered for enrollment without regard to the provisions of GPA and number of hours for transfer requirements. However, the student must not be on academic or disciplinary probation or suspension from another institution. Enrollment will be on an individual basis by the Admission Office.
