Special programs unique to this school:

Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies - Our degree program allows students maximum flexibility to select and tailor their selection of courses to meet their individual career goals. Interdisciplinary means that students take courses from more than one area of study. One student may choose courses from only one area such as business where they take classes in marketing or computer science while completing general education classes from the area of liberal studies. Another student may take courses from many areas that are of interest to them such as some in business and others in health professions. Still other students may want to concentrate their coursework in one area to obtain the qualifications to enroll in a master’s degree program while taking a course or two from a second area to round out their understanding of the field. Each student discusses their education/career goals with their academic advisor and works out an individualized study plan before registering for classes.

Additional information:

Portfolios for prior learning – a portfolio is a claim that you already learned the information that is taught in specific courses that you have selected from various college catalogs. The portfolio is a request for academic credit, based on those courses, that could be applied toward a nontraditional bachelor’s degree program.
