An introduction to the physical and chemical organization of living organisms; cell structure, function, and metabolism; classical and molecular genetics; gene regulation; genetic engineering; molecular aspects of development; and reproduction. BIOL 1406 and 1408 may not both be counted towards graduation.

Main goals of my classes:

  • To understand the general biology using the most recent textbook
  • BIOLOGY 8th edition CAMPBELL & REECE (Fall 2008)
  • Chemistry of Life
  • Cell
  • Genetics
  • Evolution

  • To familialize yourself with the basic biology techniques.
  • Ranging from pH measurement to protein, DNA gel eletrophoreses

  • To understand a genetic disease of your choice in clinical, genetic, cellular, and molecular levels
