Duties and Tasks: 

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other related duties may be assigned.

  • Set up orientation sessions and assist with the distribution of material during the “live” sessions.
  • Assist students to fill out a registration form after a counselor or advisor has helped the student identify classes.
  • Assist students by answering basic questions about WEBREG and TREG processes.
  • Help students understand and navigate the registration process.
  • Follow-up on students referred to other offices.
  • Will report to the Campus Dean of Student Services.
Required Skills: 

Must possess required knowledge, skills, abilities and experience and be able to explain and demonstrate, with or without reasonable accommodations, that the essential functions of the job can be performed.

  • Completed at least twelve credit hours at ACC with a GPA of 2.5 or above.
  • Patient, personable and people oriented.
  • Ability to conform to an established work schedule.
  • Ability to communicate in a concise and effective manner.
  • Effective interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions.
  • Ability to use personal computers.
  • Ability to exercise tact and discretion.
