Other Scholarships

Private organizations including businesses, churches, civic groups, and clubs make scholarships available to deserving students. Check your local library, online scholarship search engines, and private organizations for other opportunities.

Due to a high volume of requests, ACC cannot post all outside scholarship opportunities on its website.  The college lists opportunities provided by local donors specifically aimed at local Central Texas students.

Outside Scholarships
A+ Federal Credit Union Scholarship Program High School graduating seniors pursuing an education major or a major in other fields; and/or current college students with a minimum of 60 collegiate hours, and who have successfully been admitted into the School of Education.  Must be a current A+FCU member, or an immediate family member of an A+FCU member. Black American Comptroller Employees Association, Inc.  Must be a graduating high school senior or a current undergraduate student; have at least a 2.5 GPA; and plan to attend or are currently attending an accredited post secondary educational institution.  Access 2016 scholarship application here. Old Settler's Music Scholarship Program 2016-2017 

Must be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at Austin Community College or Texas State University, and be in pursuit of a music related degree.  Must maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher on a 4.0 scale. (Note:  Deadline extended to Feb 15, 2016) Oct 1 - Feb 15
