Computer Use Policies
The Learning Labs are welcoming and helpful places; in order to provide superior service and reliable computers, we ask that you respect these policies.
- All students are required to SIGN IN and SIGN OUT whenever they use the computer lab or tutoring resources.
- Websites containing violent, hateful, and sexually explicit material are NOT allowed.
- Printing is limited to ten pages of course-related materials per day per student.
- Playing computer games, chatting online, and listening to personal music CD's are NOT allowed in the Learning Lab.
- Computer use is open to all ACC students, faculty, and staff. However, in the event of limited resources, priority will be given to students working on class assignments.
- The downloading of files and the installation of programs is NOT allowed.
- Eating or drinking near the computers is NOT allowed. Keep all food/beverages away from computers.
- Cell phones and pagers must be turned off or silenced. Cell phone usage is NOT allowed inside the lab.
- Children are not permitted in the lab.
- Bags and personal belongings left unattended in the lab will be taken to the Campus Police’s Lost and Found.
Please direct any questions, comments, or concerns to a member of the lab. Failure to abide by these policies may result in the loss of your privilege to use the facilities.
