The purpose of this online guidebook is to inform ACC faculty members of the comprehensive resources and services the Learning Labs make available to students, faculty, and staff.

As our mission statement details, the Learning Labs aim to be a comprehensive resource for learning and teaching. We provide academic support across the disciplines, through tutoring in a variety of subjects, through interactive computer programs, and through study groups and workshops.

We hope this guidebook will make it easier for you to identify and make use of college-wide and campus-specific lab services and facilities, thereby promoting faculty involvement in the development, design, and delivery of lab activities.

Because supporting developmental programs is at the core of our mission, this handbook is also an open invitation for faculty in developmental education to integrate lab activities with program curriculum objectives in order to improve retention rates, promote student success, and foster collaboration across disciplines or areas.

We invite all ACC faculty members to access our resources and to collaborate with us in support of students; by working together, we can improve student retention, promote student success, and foster collaboration across disciplines or areas.
