Riverside Learning Lab would like to welcome Thom McFarland, an adjunct professor in English and ESOL, as our Writing Instructional Associate.

Thom has been at ACC for 21 years, since 1986, teaching a variety of courses in
English, literature, ESL--anything to do with writing. He has published one
novel, several short stories and essays, just finished a second novel, and
is working on a third. His writing has won awards with Byliners, Pacific
Northwest Writers' Conference, and Manuscripts. He has done readings with the
Balcones Center for Creative Writing and Teachers of English for Two Year
Colleges. At ACC he won Teacher of the year and was recently nominated for
Who's Who of American Teachers.

He is married to a fellow ACC instructor, Leticia Reveles, and they have two
children, Alexandra and Davina.
