ENHANCED SKILLS CERTIFICATION Illustration
This is an advanced certificate designed for Visual Communication students who have already completed an Associate of Applied Science in Visual Communication and/or Associate of Art in Art or higher. The focus is the study of illustration, both in the traditional and digital approach. It is structured to establish the principles of illustration using traditional tools as well as the use of the PC. Courses in the program will offer students the opportunity to develop a real world skill set through critical thinking and combined with practical technical skills using state of the art software and tools. The result of student's course work will consist of a body of work that can be used in a professional portfolio.
