30 year welder 22 years in research at University of Texas ARL Navy Research Lab. Associate Degree in Applied Science in Welding Technology Art Metals from Austin Community College with Scholastic Excellence in 2006. Experience welding many different metals Tantalum, Titanium, Zirconium, stellite, aluminum, Stainless, PH17-4, Niobium, hastaloy, monel, and many others. Started in structural steel in 1974, pipe welding in Houston 1976, worked for a several companies that specialized in Chamber Welding. Transferred back to Certified Pipe welding for more pay. Moved to Austin in 1982 when the oil Industry crashed in Houston.
