Welcome to Developmental Writing

ACC recognizes that having a solid foundation in reading, writing, and mathematics is essential to success in college-level course work, and that many students who enroll in college are not prepared to succeed at this level. The College is committed to eliminating barriers in the educational process. Therefore, its Developmental Education Plan is reflective of this commitment. One of the major goals of the developmental education program is to assist students to move through remediation as quickly as possible with the skills necessary for success in college-level course work.
