Writing Skills III:

✓ Comp 4.0 pairs WSIII with English 1301: The Comp 4.0 Learning Community combines a one-credit-hour Writing Skills III class with a three-credit-hour English Composition I class and is reserved for highly motivated students. Students will satisfy their TSI writing requirement and earn college credit in English 1301.

Prerequisites: Students must be TSI complete in Reading AND have a grade of B or better in Writing Skills II OR have placed into WSIII based on their TSI scores.

✓ Grammar and Usage: Do you need to strengthen your proofreading skills? If you have mastered the basics of organizing and developing an essay, but you haven’t mastered the proofreading process, you should take this DEVW 0231 class.

Prerequisites: An In-Progress (IP) grade in Writing Skills III (DEVW 0330) or a B or better in Writing Skills II (DEVW 0320).

✓ Fast-Track Writing III (8-week session) —This fast-paced WSIII course is designed to meet the needs of students who score in the top 10% of the assessment test. Students should be highly motivated, independent learners in order to succeed in this eight week format.

✓ Distance Learning Writing III —Students must be highly-motivated, independent learners. There will be no scheduled class visits; however, orientation is mandatory.

✓ Academic Triangle II : WSII —Students who are eligible for Writing Skills II, Reading Skills I, Vocabulary I, and Basic Study Skills can opt to enroll in the Academic Triangle Program II offered at the RVS campus.
