Free help for a smooth transition

Did you earn a diploma or credential from a college or university in another country? ACC can help you learn how to apply your education and skills to opportunities in the U.S. All students enrolled in the ITP class, will receive one on one support from an Adult Education Coordinator. 

Who can enroll

These free classes are open to adults with degrees outside of the United States. Students must have a diploma and school transcripts. Individuals with F1 or F2 (International Student), J1 or J2 (Exchange Visitor), and B1 or B2 (business/tourism) visas are not eligible for this program. Sign up online during the registration period. 

After the application login, apply under Adult Education. Then, click on the apply button for Career Pathways.

Intensive Language Training (ILT) Preparation

This class will help you: understand your specific test requirements, learn the value of your diploma in the US, explore the University system, diploma translation and evaluation options, create a US resume and cover letter. Space is limited!

Internationally Trained Professionals This program will help you find opportunities to use your degree; it is not intended to train you for a new career. ACC will help you will explore the higher education system — including diploma translation and evaluation options — understand the work culture, and prepare for job interviews. In-person HLC
