Child Care and Development
Help young people grow into capable and resilient adults by becoming an early childhood educator. Austin Community College’s Child Care and Development Program focuses on important topics like inclusivity, classroom management, childhood behavior, and more. Multiple award plans and stackable credits allow you to build your resume by working in ACC’s nationally accredited child care center.
The program honors each individual and the growing diversity of children, families and the community. You will learn through dedicated work to respect the inherent value of each person’s unique perspective, culture, developmental stage, and experiences to develop mutual respect among all groups and create a sense of belonging.

Care for children in private households and provide support and expertise to parents in satisfying children's physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs.
