Dual Credit Admissions

High School Programs Application Steps

If you need accommodations during the enrollment process, please visit Student Accessibility Services (SAS). ACC provides accommodations and assistive technology to students with documented disabilities. Remember to request your accommodations every semester you enroll.

Attend an Information Session

Check the High School Programs Calendar or ask your high school counselor about upcoming information sessions to learn more about Dual Credit programs. You can also view a recorded session.

Submit Your Application

Follow these steps if you’re a new Dual Credit student. Returning students do not need to reapply.
Click Apply Now and follow the instructions to create your application account and submit the Dual Credit application. Use a non-school/ISD email address to create your application account so that communications are not blocked or sent to spam

Check your email for your user name and password. (If you don’t see the email, check your spam folder.) Use your login information to complete the Dual Credit application in the Application Portal.

Here are some tips for applying:

  • If you need to stop before submitting your application, click on the box at the top of the screen that says “Save my progress and resume later.”
  • High school start and end dates are when you started and when you will graduate high school.
  • Don’t forget to click Confirm to submit your application.
  • Keep your ACCeID and password somewhere safe and accessible! You will use it to check your ACCmail, register for classes, log in to Blackboard, and more.
Activate ACC Online Tools

You will receive an email within 24 hours (excluding weekends/holidays) with your ACCeID and instructions to activate your ACCeid account and online tools.

Set up your ACCeID and activate your ACCmail account after 24 hours.

Check your ACCmail regularly for updates about your registration status and communication from High School Programs, your instructors, and the college.

If you have any questions along the way, contact the Student Services Help Desk.

Orientation

The High School Programs Orientation is required. Don’t wait to complete your orientation and the assessment quiz. It could delay your registration!

Test Scores
  • Visit with your high school counselor or campus dual credit coordinator to determine if testing is required.
  • If testing is required, schedule a TSI Assessment at your high school (if offered) or via an ACC campus Assessment Center. The cost of the test is $29
  • Complete the Pre-Assessment Activity (PAA) before your TSI testing.
  • Purchase your test ticket and present it with your PAA Completion Certificate and Photo ID to the assessment staff when you arrive for your testing appointment.
Enrollment Documents

Meet with your High School Counselor or campus dual credit coordinator (assistant principal, director, dean, or other designated staff member) to discuss your course options for the semester, and get your HS Programs Early Admission Contract.

Fill out your contract, and return it to your High School Counselor or coordinator. They will submit your contract, as well as your student and course information to ACC.

Homeschool students must connect with their assigned HS Programs Enrollment Coordinator each semester to facilitate enrollment and registration.

Plan and Register for Your Classes

Use your ACCeID and password to log in to the myACC Self-Service tool to plan and register for classes during the open registration period. Be sure to check your balance to verify if payment is due. Make a payment, if needed.
