Austin Community College makes college more accessible with an open admissions policy and a simple enrollment process. There’s no fee to apply, and applications are accepted year-round. Once you complete these four steps, you’re eligible to take credit classes at any of our 11 campuses or online.
If you have fewer than 12 college credits or if you an not TSI complete, you will need to meet with an Area of Study Advisor.
This required meeting with your advisor will get you off to a strong start. They will help you to review your degree or certificate options and then assist you in selecting the best courses for your first semester at ACC. Your advisor will also share a link to an online area of study information video during your meeting. The video includes useful information regarding career opportunities and services available to you. After this meeting, you’ll be ready to register for classes.
You are registration-ready and can proceed to Step 4.
