FORMAT FOR PAPERS
Rough drafts can be neatly hand-written, but all final drafts
should be submitted according to the following guidelines.
- Please staple the pages of your essay (rather than using paper
clips or plastic binders)
- All assignments should be typed/word-processed and
double-spaced
- Please use a 10-cpi or a 12-point font. Do not use fancy fonts
or colors.
- Margins should be one inch all around.
Do not attempt to use large fonts or large margins to
fill the required number of pages. If you are having trouble
filling the required number of pages, see me or go to the
Learning Lab to work on getting more ideas.

IMPORTANT: All work should be proofread. The presentation
of your work is important. Spell check is a good place to start, but
make sure you read through your essay one last time before you hand
it in. You may correct in pen any last spelling or grammar errors
that you find. I will not read work that has clearly not been
proofread.
