Adjunct Professor in Computer Studies
I am an Adjunct
Professor at the Austin Community College in Austin, TX. If you
don't know, adjunct means part-time.
Fulltime IBM
I work fulltime for
IBM, currently as an e-mail architect on the Ameriprise e-mail
contract. I have worked for IBM for 30+ years, mostly as an
architect: network, high-speed computer intercommunications,
device driver, computer clusters, and the like. With that said, I
have also done product release, OEM technical development & sales, and
even coding.
Military
I retired as a
Lieutenant Colonel from the United States Army Reserves. I have an
extensive military background starting from when both my parents were in
the Army (yes, my mother wore combat boots!). Currently, I do oral
histories of veterans for the War in the Pacific Museum in
Fredericksburg, TX and March Reserve Air Base, CA. I am also a
docent at the Texas Military Forces Museum, Camp Mabry, Austin, TX.
