Inserting accented letters

For PC

Press the crtl key + [means hold down the next key(s) listed, let go, and type the letter after the comma.

é -- ctrl + ' [apostrophe], then letter 'e'

è -- ctrl + `[caret] , 'e'

ê -- ctrl + shift key + ^, 'e'

à -- ctrl + `[caret], letter 'a'

â -- ctrl + shift key + ^ , 'a'

ç -- alt + 'c'

î -- ctrl + shift key + ^ , 'i'

ù -- ctrl + `, 'u'

ö -- ctrl + shift + : [colon], 'o'

ë -- ctrl + 'shift + : [colon], 'e'

` [caret] -- top row left of number 1
^ -- circumflex, above number 6
