GRAVITY EXAMPLE 2

Consider two objects 3 ft apart exerting a gravitational force on each other.  If I double the mass of one of the objects (object A),  decrease the mass of the other object (B) by a factor of 5, and increase the distance between their centers to 6 ft, how does the gravitational force between them change?

STEP 1

The first step is always to write out the data. Find the information in the problem, and write it out. You don't need to look up anything! When you finish that, click here to move on to Step 2.
