Austin Community College (ACC) calls for participants in observance of the National Day of Racial Healing.

Falling in line with this year’s theme “What’s Your Story?”, applications from faculty, staff, and community members are being accepted to share spoken word, poetry, stories, music, readings, dances, and monologues. A sample of the applicant’s performance must be submitted by November 16 at 5 p.m.

Organized by the college’s Office of Equity and Inclusion, the National Day of Racial Healing joins the W.K. Kellogg Foundation and 130 organizations from across the country. It will be held Tuesday, January 22, on the second floor of ACC Highland Campus from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
