Help raise $5,000 for student scholarships during Amplify Austin, a communitywide day of charitable giving, from 6 p.m. Thursday, February 28, through 6 p.m. Friday, March 1.

ACC's Alumni Network is participating in Amplify Austin to raise support for the Alumni Network Scholarship, which provides full-time tuition for students pursuing a certificate or associate degree at the college.

"This year, the ACC Alumni Network was able to fund our third scholarship recipient, Andrea," says Mary Ann Cicala, ACC alumni director. "She shared with us that she is the first in her family to attend college and she is thankful for this scholarship that enables her to continue as a full-time student."

There are three ways to support the Alumni Network scholarship during Amplify Austin:

1. Donate: Visit Amplify Austin: ACC Alumni Network to make a direct donation.
2. Raise funds: Recruit your friends to donate to the ACC Alumni Network Scholarship.
3. Share the love: Take a selfie with an "I amplify ACC because..." message to post on your own social media. Join the conversation with #AmplifyACC and #AmplifyATX.

The Alumni Network also organized prizes for the department and employees who makes the biggest impact.

• Top Department: The department that raises the most money for the ACC Alumni Scholarship will win lunch at the Riverbat Café.
• Top Employee: The employee who raises the most money for the ACC Alumni Scholarship will win two tickets to the Alumni Network's Riverbat Sunset Boat Cruise celebrating ACC's newest graduates in May.
• Top Recruiter: The employee who attracts the most individual donors will win two tickets to ACC Night at the Round Rock Express.
• Share the News: Any employee who sets up an Amplify page and makes five social media posts during Amplify Day OR raises at least $50 will win a limited edition pair of R.B. socks.
