Boots & Bats silent auction is back! Bidding continues through December 13

There’s still time to support student scholarships by bidding on one-of-a-kind artwork from the second annual Boots & Bats Gala. The silent auction reopens Monday, November 18, until 5 p.m. Friday, December 13. Every dollar raised supports student scholarships.

“When you talk to students, some minor roadblocks can really get in the way and make a difference in a student stopping or dropping out,” says Dr. Richard Rhodes, ACC president/CEO. “By removing that hurdle of paying for school and providing a scholarship we provide a way for students to make it. When it comes to scholarships, students know that somebody invested in them personally, and they take it personally.”

The college hosts the Boots & Bats Gala in partnership with renowned Southwest artist Amado Peña's Art Has Art Foundation. So far, the 2019 gala has raised more than $250,000.

The gala’s silent auction features more than 150 pieces of artwork and jewelry from local, state, and national artists as well as experience packages. Auction items begin at 50 percent of their total value. The auction works like eBay and allows a “Proxy Bid” to enter a maximum bid amount. A Buy-It-Now option also is available.
