ACC goes virtual with 1-on-1 sessions to answer questions about college & prepare students for online/hybrid learning

Austin Community College District’s (ACC) College Destination Center is now virtual and offering 1-on-1 support sessions in the final weeks of summer to answer questions about college and help students apply for financial aid, take ACC’s interactive Career Quiz, and enroll. Registration for fall classes is underway. Most courses will remain online. 

  • Make Online Learning Work: Get expert advice on how to succeed in an online learning environment from setting up the best study space at home to connecting with your professors.
  • The Student Experience: ACC President/CEO, Dr. Richard Rhodes talks with students and faculty about how they made the transition to remote learning work including the challenges and tips and advice. Interviews with students and faculty are available upon request.
  • FREE Classes to Try it Out: ACC’s Dance Department offers a week of FREE masterclasses August 3 - 7 so students can sign up to see how online learning is done in the Creative Arts.
  • Keeping Up with Simulations: Talk with faculty and students to learn how ACC is taking clinical experience into a virtual simulation atmosphere to help keep ACC Health Sciences students on track during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Fall classes begin Monday, August 24.
