ACC Board of Trustees votes to rename president/CEO position to chancellor

The Austin Community College District Board of Trustees officially changed the title of ACC’s president/CEO to ACC chancellor. The unanimous vote took place during the board’s regular August meeting on Monday, August 3, and is effective immediately.

The decision better aligns the Austin Community College District with similar multi-campus community college institutions nationwide. It does not impact the compensation, role, or duties of the position.

The change is not expected to impact other positions or roles at the college at this time.
