Third annual ACC International Festival celebrates different cultures

Immerse yourself in culture, art, religion, and language from across the globe at Austin Community College District’s (ACC) third annual International Festival. ACC invites students, faculty, and their families to join us for a day of virtual celebration on Tuesday, September 15. Events run from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

“Central Texas is an incredibly diverse region. We must find a way to promote all the different cultures and work to make this a better place. We need to encourage our students and the community to share their creative expression,” says Matthew Daude Laurents, ACC Liberal Arts dean. “Now is the time we need to come together. By highlighting all there is to offer, we can make Central Texas a more educated and welcoming community.”

Sponsored by the Liberal Arts, Humanities, and Communications and Art & Digital Media divisions, the events include exhibitors from ACC and the community, music by Mariachi Margaritas, influential films, and performances.
