Austin Community College and the Office of College and High School Relations are always excited to partner with school districts and high schools. A component of our strategic priorities is to increase early access higher education. In so doing, it is important to create a solid foundation for educational partnerships.
Planning for Dual Credit, Early College High Schools, P-TECH (Pathways in Technical Early College High school) designation, and Career Academies is a process that is important to develop in order to ensure student success and positive outcomes. With this in mind, school districts interested in partnering with ACC or adding additional partnerships will use the form below to being the on-boarding process. Please be prepared to identify the implementing semester, proposed program of study, and proposed location of instructional delivery.
Once the school district/high school has submitted the form, a College and High School Relations specialist will contact you to schedule the first planning meeting. The district will be advised on who should attend the initial meeting.
These outlined steps will ensure our office moves quickly to support your district’s intent to apply for state designations/partnerships or become an ACC dual credit school. We enjoy working alongside our partners to develop and expand opportunities for students. It is important that we strategize together to think through preliminary and final plans in each step to realize maximum student enrollment, student retention, and student completion.
We look forward to contributing to lives of our high school students.
