The Green Pass offers unlimited rides to class, work, and anywhere else on the Capital Metro transit system for one semester. Green Pass riders must show an ACC ID card upon request.
Capital Metro just launched a new local rideshare option called Pickup. With the Pickup App (iPhone / Android) and your ACC Green Pass, you can arrange on-demand transit service from and to anywhere within one of the Pickup Service Zones for free! Eastview, Northridge, and San Gabriel Campuses are located within a Pickup zone.

Eligible faculty and staff may obtain a free Green Pass by completing step 5 with their ACC Employee ID card.
Green Passes are available to students enrolled in ACC credit classes, Adult Education students, and ACC faculty and staff. Continuing Education students and hourly employees are not eligible for a Green Pass.

Who's eligible for a Green Pass?

I dropped all of my classes. Can I still use my Green Pass?
Since you are no longer actively enrolled in ACC, your Green Pass will be deactivated.
How long will my Green Pass remain in effect?
The Green Pass is valid for one semester. Each semester you must order a new pass.
Where can I use my Green Pass?
The Green Pass can be used for Local, Express, MetroRapid bus services, MetroAccess, and MetroRail. Register your MetroAccess number when you request a Green Pass from the Green Pass Request website. MetroAccess service will be activated within five business days.
I got a new phone, but my digital pass doesn't show up on my new phone.
ACC Green Pass is allowed in only one device, please contact green@austincc.edu to move your digital pass from your old phone to your new phone.
I lost my Green Pass. Can I get another one?
Lost or stolen replacement passes are available for $25 (non-refundable), the payment can be made here, the lost pass will be deactivated.
My Green Pass is damaged. Can I get a new one?
A damaged pass can be replaced at no charge. You will need to mail the damaged pass to ACC Sustainability Office, Please contact green@austincc.edu.
Can I share my Green Pass with my family?
No, this program covers only ACC students, faculty, and staff. An ACC ID card must be shown upon request. Misuse of your Green Pass may lead to the loss of Green Pass privileges.
Can I only use my Green Pass to get to an ACC campus?
You may use the Green Pass anywhere and at any time on the Capital Metro system.
How is the Green Pass program funded?
The cost of the program is funded through ACC's sustainability fee and revenue from parking permit fees.
