Welcome to Facilities and Construction.

ACC's Facilities and Construction directs campus planning and construction for the College, including all acquisition and disposition of real estate, all new construction, remodeling and furnishings, management of leased property, management of all efforts relating to sustainability, and management of utilities. The department strives to deliver sustainable environments that promote learning, and provide safe and accessible facilities for the students, faculty, staff, and the communities served by the Austin Community College District.

Awards include:

  • The Austin Community College (ACC) Highland Mall redevelopment project was awarded the 2015 Impact Award for Innovation from the Urban Land Institute (ULI) of Austin on Wednesday, April 1, 2015.  Learn more>>
  • The Austin Community College District was honored by the Austin chapter of the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials for the college’s efforts to adopt and promote sustainable transportation practices. The college received the Higher Education Institution of the Year award in 2011.
