Grant Funding Resources

The Grant Development & Compliance Office will help connect you with potential funders for your project, write a compelling proposal, and submit an application to a specific funding agency.

The following can also help you develop ideas for funding sources, need statements, goals, and more.

Funding Sources

Grant Development & Compliance Office

Grant Development & Compliance can tap into a variety of resources to help you locate potential funders, including a funder database, listserv sources, online tools, and comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and private grant opportunities.

Your Colleagues

Colleagues are often good sources of information. Contact your peers inside and outside of ACC to ask about their grant efforts for similar projects.

Professional Association(s)

Look in association journals, websites, and newsletters for potential funder ideas or leads on grant ventures. Consider the organization’s national or regional clearinghouse as a possible resource.

Agency Contact

After you have located a funder, you can increase your odds of receiving an award if you contact the agency. Share your idea with the program officer, and consider revising your idea based on their feedback.

Grant Development & Compliance will help you identify a funding source; however, if you’d like to search for grant opportunities on your own, check the following organizations:
