Austin Community College District: 4 Strategic Goals

The Strategic Plan 2017-21 supports student success for all student groups, and encompasses the needs of the entire institution with specific attention given to instructional programs, support services, capital equipment/technology, facilities, staffing, and financial planning that leads the College toward achievement of its mission/vision. All units within the College are asked to align their planning goals and objectives to ACC's strategic goals and objectives, outlined in the College's Strategic Plan.

Goal One: Equity & Access

Increase ACC enrollment to 85,000 annual students in 2030 through equity-focused connection
and entry processes.

Goal Two: Persistence & Engagement

Develop an equitable and inclusive learning and student support environment that increases fall-
to-fall persistence rates to 58 percent for all students.

Goal Three: Completion and Transition to Employment/Transfer

Achieve equitable results in completion and increase annual credential awards to 15,000 by 2030
in order to improve transfer and employment outcomes for all ACC students.

Goal Four: Effective and Efficient Operation and Infrastructure

Ensure an organizational environment that promotes equitable student and employee success
through effective and efficient operations and infrastructure.
