Mark has a 30-year career as a mechanical design/analysis engineer in the aerospace (General Dynamics and Lockheed Missiles and Space), semiconductor equipment (Eaton and Axcelis), and Automated Test Equipment (Symtx, AAI Corporation, and Textron) industries. He has also enjoyed a 15-year career as an educator at ITT-Technical Institute, Austin Community College, and Texas State University.
Mark also owns and operates a CAD/Design consulting firm that specializes in CAD training and electro/mechanical design services.

Mark brings his background experience from these multiple industries into the classroom to educate the next generation of designers/engineers. This includes real world design problems linking the hands-on design process with the classroom curriculum.
Mark and his wife of 36 years live in Buda, where they raised a son who is currently finishing up a doctoral degree at The University of Miami and a daughter that is currently working on her engineering degree.
