Turn the dome inside out, then place it firmly on a flat surface. Try to get good contact with the surface all around the edge so it sticks for a short time. After a short delay, the dome will pop right side up and launch into the air!

When you turn the dome inside out, you are storing potential energy in it. When the dome flips back, the potential energy is released as kinetic energy.
