The Austin Community College District 2020-25 Academic Master Plan (AMP) will guide ACC’s collective academic vision, administrative supports, and strategic plans for the future. The goal is to produce a concise plan that contains “big ideas” and innovative suggestions on how we may achieve even greater success for our students over the next five years.
The planning process invites participation from all areas of the college. It integrates goals from existing planning processes at the program and departmental levels and incorporates new practices that serve as an extension of the strategic planning and budget processes. Learn more.

TLED is utilizing CARES funding to host a "Future of Work Summit" which will have featured speakers online throughout the week of July 27-31. July 27-31 - The Future of Work Summit. The Summit will explore COVID-19’s impact on higher education, changes that may happen in the labor market, how ACC can better prepare students and innovate for the future of work in Central Texas, and more. Featured speakers will present on these topics and answer questions via webinars. All ACC employees are invited to attend. Leadership and participants in previous AMP process meetings are highly encouraged to engage in these discussions. Attend the sessions live or watch the recordings later to receive professional development credit.

The AMP Steering Committee has moved the AMP process to resume fall 2020 due to the impacts of COVID-19. An update timeline and scoring rubric are being finalized.

Invitations were sent to the Steering Committee, inviting members of ACC’s academic and support services community to participate in the planning process. The Steering Committee facilitates the process for creating the 2020-25 Academic Master Plan. The Committee is co-chaired by Dean Brandon Whatley of the Design, Manufacturing, Construction, and Applied Technologies Area of Study and Dean Rachel Ruiz who heads Student Affairs at the Cypress Creek Campus.
