Bob Blodgett has taught geology and environmental science at Austin
Community
College (ACC) since 1995. He loves teaching and has been on the faculty
of Ohio State University, Dickinson College, and Chapman University. Bob
has also taught geology at Cranbrook Institute of Science and
Oakland
University. He is a Licensed Professional Geoscientist and has worked as a geologist at the Texas Natural Resource
Conservation Commission, Texas Water Commission, Texas Department of Health, Texas Bureau of
Economic
Geology, Exxon Production Research Corporation, and Shell Oil Company.
Bob is also a Fellow of the Geological Society of America. He holds degrees in geology from the University of Wisconsin at Madison (B.S.), University of Nebraska at Lincoln (M.S.), and the University of Texas at Austin (Ph.D.), and is currently a Professor of Geology and Environmental Science at Austin Community College.
