Accounting

NEW ACC STUDENTS:
Any correspondence should come through your ACC student gmail account and
include your ACC Student ID number. This message is for new students that have not
taken any ACC courses. You must schedule an Advising Appointment with the
Department Chair to get approval for upper-division Accounting classes (this does not
include ACCT-2301 & ACCT-2302).

CURRENT OR RETURNING ACC STUDENTS:
Any correspondence should come through your ACC student gmail account and
include your ACC Student ID number. The administrative assistant grants approval to
students to register for classes only after they’re cleared by the Department Chair and
prerequisites are complete. For approval to register, complete the Granted Petition Request form .Allow 1-3 business days for email confirmation.

Course instruction is online. Required materials: textbook, laptop or desktop with webcam or use of external webcam. System requirements: Respondus Lockdown Monitor works with Firefox, Google Chrome, Chrome Books and Safari. If you have any questions, please reach out to your instructor.  Tests may also be taken online. Some tests may require proctoring. Students can access online proctoring on their own computer.  MANDATORY orientation information will be available in Blackboard. This is a ZTC (Zero Textbook Cost) section. In place of required textbooks, all textbook materials needed for the class will be available online to students free of charge. Students may print copies of the resources, but will be responsible for printing costs. Course materials may be Open Educational Resources (OER), see syllabus for specifics. There will be gradable assignments using OHM which will be an additional cost of $35.

MANDATORY orientation information will be available in Blackboard. This is a First-Day Access (FDA) course which includes a fee to cover the costs of required digital materials and an electronic textbook, provided at a discounted rate.
