Hourly and Work Study Safety Training

 

 

Hourly and Work-Study employees must receive Safety training prior to use of chemicals in the lab. Training is the responsibility of the Lab Coordinator; however, the Lab Coordinator may assign the actual training to an experienced Science Lab Assistant.

 

The Lab Coordinator or designee will, in person, review the Hourly/Work-Study Safety Training (PDF) with the new employee. Upon completion of the training, the new employee will complete and sign the Hourly/Work-Study Safety Training Contract (PDF). The original must be sent to the Science Safety Coordinator of the relevant discipline.
