Each semester, BRASS hosts a variety of events for ACC students.
Martin Luther King Jr. March & Festival
Monday January 16th
9AM- 3:30PM
University of Texas and Huston- Tillotson University
BRASS will be participating in the Martin Luther King Jr. Community March and Kickoff. The MLK Community March kicks off with a short program at the MLK Statue on the University of Texas campus and will conclude towards the festival at Huston- Tillotson University where BRASS will be tabling.

Take a moment to immerse yourself in the arts. Black people have told their stories through all avenues of artistic expression. Here we seek to shine the spotlight on artists within the ACC community.

HBCU Transfer Panel

Join representatives from historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) for a panel discussion on transfer admission, helpful hints, and more information on their institutions. You will have an opportunity to ask your specific questions after the moderated panel.

Kalahari Resorts and Conventions
Students will have the opportunity to engage in an intensive leadership institute and to network with other leaders statewide.

Career Services Employer Panel
Join us to hear from a panel of company recruiters and leaders to gain insight from diversity-centered employers. Initiatives to build inclusive work environments, panelists journeys and struggles, and future career opportunities will be discussed.

BRASS Graduation
THE BRASS (Black Representation of Achievement through Student Support) Graduation Ceremony is a pre-commencement celebration to honor BRASS students who through unyielding determination have successfully completed their degree requirements and successfully completed the semester at Austin Community College
The ceremony is representative of African and African American culture and heritage, embraces the value of community and scholarship. This is a celebration for ACC BRASS students to be recognized for their accomplishments and an opportunity to honor significant people who have helped them achieve their goals.
