The Fall 2021 Application is now available.
Austin Community College is here to help you succeed. In summer 2021, ACC received American Rescue Plan (HEERF III) funding to support eligible students financially impacted by the Coronavirus (COVID-19). These funds are a part of the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund, a federal grant funded by the American Rescue Plan (ARP) and are available to students currently enrolled at ACC. Federal funds are limited and not guaranteed. Applications are open to all students once enrolled at the college and are reviewed in the order they are received. You may also access additional community resources, ACC scholarships and Financial Aid.
ARP funds are in addition to funds earlier authorized by the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund: Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSAA) and the Coronavirus Aid, Recovery, and Economic Security (CARES) Act.
Due to limited funding, ACC will prioritize currently enrolled students, Pell eligible students, undocumented students and other high need populations. ACC must adhere to federal guidelines set forth by the Department of Education (ED).
Please see ARP Frequently Asked Questions.
Federal funds are limited and not guaranteed. Applications will be reviewed in the order they are received. If you have received Fall CRRSA funding, you may not receive Fall ARP funding. We encourage you to apply for Spring ARP funding when our spring application becomes available.
