Financial aid can help you pay for college. Most students are eligible for some type of assistance – from grants, scholarships, loans, or work-study. The Financial Aid Office at Austin Community College will work with you to explore options and access the funds you need to achieve a college education.
The first step is to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and include ACC’s FAFSA code 012015 on your application.
Non-citizens and undocumented students
Non-citizens and undocumented students with Texas residency, follow these instructions to apply for state aid.
Continuing Education students
ACC offers various ways for continuing education students to fund their education, including grant funds for select programs. Learn more on the website.
Apply as early as October 1 each year for the best financial aid options. Some funds are limited, so the sooner you apply the better your chances of accessing first come, first served resources.
You can use our priority dates below to ensure your aid is ready before your tuition is due. If you miss the priority date, don’t worry. ACC processes financial aid year-round, and you may even receive money for classes you’ve already taken.
The financial aid application can take several weeks to process, so we encourage you to apply early and follow through with all requirements in order to receive an early award offer. Your application status will appear in your student account.
