Financial aid can help you pay for college. Most students are eligible for some type of assistance – from grants, scholarships, loans, or work-study. The Financial Aid Office at Austin Community College will work with you to explore options and access the funds you need to achieve a college education.
The first step is to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and include ACC’s FAFSA code 012015 on your application.
Non-citizens and undocumented students
Non-citizens and undocumented students with Texas residency, follow these instructions to apply for state aid.
Use the priority dates as a guide to the best times to complete your financial aid application. You’ll ensure any money is available when you need to pay tuition and have the best chance of receiving some of the limited funds. If you miss the date, don’t worry. ACC processes financial aid year-round, and you may receive money for classes you’ve already taken.
Fall – April 1
Spring – October 15
Summer – March 1
The financial aid application can take several weeks to process, so we encourage you to apply early and follow through with all requirements in order to receive an early award offer. Your application status will appear in your student account..
