Commencement is the celebration of Austin Community College graduates’ hard work, dedication, and sacrifice. The college is proud to recognize student achievement with graduates and their families.
The event honors graduates of ACC's college-credit programs as well as students who complete a GED. ACC holds commencement ceremonies in May and December. The college also certifies graduates in August.
IMPORTANT: You must be an approved graduation candidate to participate in commencement.
All graduates receive an emailed invitation with the individual link to RSVP to attend the ceremony. The deadline to RSVP for attendance is December 1, 2021.
The ceremony will be livestreamed on the ACC website and will also be recorded for future viewing.

PLEASE NOTE: All students, staff, faculty, and guests over the age of 2 are required to wear a mask while in the Center. Graduates must remain fully masked while walking across the stage; they are allowed to briefly, temporarily remove their mask at the official photograph station off-stage, and will replace their mask before returning to their seat.
The HEB Center has an enforced bag policy for all guests. Information about this can be found here. Additionally, the HEB Center does not allow guests to carry in gifts, helium balloons or signs.
