Submit the following required documents if you currently have an I-589 application for asylum status pending with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).

As an applicant for Asylum status, you will not qualify for Texas Resident/In-State tuition rates until you have been approved for Asylum. You will be charged the out-of-state/international non-resident tuition rate, unless you qualify for Texas Senate Bill 1528.

10 Proof of employment Submit current paycheck stub or an employment letter on official letterhead that includes a recent date and signature of company official. (Original documents required.) Provided by student
