Accessibility Services Application Steps

Accommodations are determined each semester based on the courses you take.

Once your accommodations are approved, you MUST pick up your current Notice of Approved Accommodations letter and submit it to your instructors during the first week of each class.

Apply to ACC

Begin the college admission and registration process. You are invited to contact any campus Student Accessibility Services at any point to request assistance or accommodations.

Schedule an assessment

Before you schedule the TSI Assessment, contact any campus Accessibility Services to arrange for any TSI testing accommodations you need.

Check tuition exemption

If you are a student who is blind or deaf/hard of hearing, review the steps for a tuition exemption.

Meet with SAS

When you are ready to request accommodations, schedule an appointment with Student Accessibility Services at your chosen campus. Bring the following documentation to the meeting with your Accessibility Services coordinator or specialist:

  1. TSI Assessment
  2. Application for services (PDF)
  3. Information release form (PDF)
  4. Supporting documentation

Renew services each semester

Visit an Accessibility Services coordinator or specialist each semester to select classes and to review your accommodations.
