Produces print and Web designs and other content for Accent print and online editions. Assists editors and other reporters with research and administrative tasks. The designer in training will receive excellent on the job training for student publications leadership positions.

Descriptions of Duties and Tasks:

• Helps edit, archive, and organize digital photos and videos.
• Attends and helps run staff training sessions.
• Assists Layout Editor in producing designs for the Accent print and web
• editions.
• Assisting Layout Editor and other reporters with research and fact checking
• tasks.
• Possibility of designing full pages or other products as assigned by
• editors.
• Other data entry and light clerical duties as assigned.
