Terminology Crosswalk

With the implementation of Workday, ACC will be utilizing new terminology. This document identifies ACC legacy terminology, along with the equivalent terms that users will experience within Workday. Some current terms may officially change over time, while other terms may remain in use. To view a crosswalk of these terms, click here.

Example: ACC currently uses the term “paycheck” for a paper document issued by an employer to pay an employee for services rendered. Workday uses the term “payslip.” ACC also uses the term “stipend” for a miscellaneous payment such as miscellaneous wages or payment for substituting to teach a course, a one-time occurrence.
