Due to the Workday implementation effort there will be temporary adjustments made to future training dates. Additionally, the current Professional Database will be replaced with Workday, see below for important transition dates for Staff Professional Development.
November 2, 2021: Mandatory training resumes in Workday
All mandatory training for new and current employees is suspended starting Monday, August 9 until November 1, 2021. Disregard notifications sent by the Professional Development Workshops system asking you to complete an expired training.
Mandatory trainings are: Groundswell (Discrimination & Harassment), Meridians (Title IX & Sexual Misconduct Training) and Tapestry (ADA Awareness) and Cybersecurity. More information about Mandatory Compliance Training at ACC. You will be able to fill these requirements after November 1, 2021.
Transition dates for recruiting and hiring vary, based on employee types. The following is the transition schedule for staff, full-time faculty, adjunct, and hourly/Work-Study positions that are active in eHire.
Hiring Managers may complete their hiring processes in eHire through December 17. E-Hire Job postings may not be advertised to the public October 2 - October 22.
Positions advertised after ACC's Hiring Blackout Dates (including FY22 Faculty job openings) will be advertised in Workday and begin appearing on ACC's internal and external career sites October 22.
Fall Blackout Dates for Workday implementation: October 1, 2021 – October 15, 2021, this includes job postings, position changes, titles, and stipends.
All hiring paperwork must be submitted to HR for new adjunct employees by end of the day on Thursday, September 23. The hiring of adjunct faculty in Workday will resume after go-live.
Incomplete or incorrect paperwork submitted by end of the day on Thursday will not be processed. Hiring will resume in Workday after go-live using the new process and procedure.
Do not start adjunct faculty if a timesheet is not available. If there is no timesheet, there is a great risk that the employee will not get paid during this transition.

All position changes (such as supervisor changes, account changes, etc.) need to signed, with completed Position Management Forms submitted to HR by end of the day on Thursday, September 23 in order to be processed prior to Workday go-live.
Position change paperwork received after September 23 will be returned, and will need to be processed in Workday after go-live under the new process and procedure.
